Dying Daily #368: So Long (for now)

So this should finish out the post-a-day-of- a-year thing.

To be clear, this is only wrapping up the posting everyday part of this. The new website is almost up and running and I have a lot of stuff in the works that I am really excited about. I’ll be spamming you with stuff again before you know it.

Not every day though.

Definitely not every day.

Looking ahead, my plan is to get the new website functional, and then move on to creating content for it. I already have a few things in my resource library, but I would like to have a lot more before opening it up. If you are reading this in your email, then you are already on the list and I will send you a password once it is ready to go. If you are reading this somewhere else and would like to get on the list, just shoot me a message or email or text. I don’t want anyone to get lost in the shuffle as I change websites, so direct contact is probably easiest.

I am looking forward to offering longer and more in-depth posts that are more targeted to the most common themes from over the last year. I am looking forward to turning the last year into a book. I am anxious about, but looking forward to, moving into making videos and trying to turn all of this into a business that helps people.

In the end, I really think that what matters most to me is creating things that are useful to people. I see a real gap in the whole personal growth/mindfulness/coaching industry where most everything is geared toward people who are somewhat affluent/already functional. I am hoping to be useful to people who are not rich and who struggle with day-to-day things. People more like me I suppose.

We’ll see.

I really want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this and comment on it and send me messages and texts. We wound up at 166,826 words, which makes for a rough average of 457 words per post, give or take. The website got around 10,000 hits, it looks like it would have been around 13,000 if I’d started off posting on it. I appreciate the love and support I’ve received over the last year and hope to build on it in the future.

Here are a few blogs I read every post from that you can follow in the meantime:

Thank you so much for your time.

I’ll see you in a month or so.
