"Keys. They don't just open things anymore."

'Kay, I'm rather frustrated. My new keyboard is causing static in my tracks. At first I thought it was the mastering, but I was incredibly wrong. Some of the sound effects are prone to causing static for some reason and this is really going to slow me down. I'm going to have to re-record things and fix things and this whole album just became way more trouble than it ever should've been. Still I am going to put up this third song and contemplate what to do next. I'm unhappy and a good bit annoyed... I'll figure something out.

"I'm growing... As an artist. Suckas."

I've started a new album in the midst of working on The Nothing Battles. I feel like a weight has been lifted because this is something I wouldn't have done a couple of years ago. It was always 'one project at a time' and now that I'm kinda trying to open myself up to new ideas and new ways of doing things I feel way better about the music I work on. Even if it is just short little fun stuff. The first two tracks are up in the player.

The new album will be called Short Songs And Long Titles. The title pretty much says it all. Every song is going to be written and recorded on my very, very shitty (but still super awesome) Yamaha PSR-77 that I bought recently for $20. Why, you may ask? Why the fuck not, I say! It's good times and the songs are easy to do. Plus, I'm actually really proud of how they're coming out and it's nice to be able to start a song and finish it in the same night the way I used to be able to do back when I started The Nightmare Battles or Embracing Fate I.

The Nothing Battles is still being worked on. Currently I'm waiting on Sid to get off his ass and write his part of Endure Emptiness. I had kind of a cool idea that I'll explain if he ever gets around to doing it. GET TO WORK BRO!

Other than that, not a lot has really been going on. Just trying to stay sane in the wonderful void that I reside in: Flint, Oklahoma.
